The short version
- Your models are yours — including the ones we make for you. We hold a licence to host and show them, and only for as long as you keep them on Ylveno.
- Free is free for as long as you like. Ten models, five gigabytes, one website, a “Powered by Ylveno” mark. No card, no clock.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly. Moving up takes effect at once; moving down takes effect when the period you paid for ends. Nothing you built is deleted for changing plan.
- Reaching a limit stops new uploads, never your site. Everything already published keeps working.
- Leaving is simple. Close the account when you like; you have thirty days to export, then we delete.
- Our liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim; on the Free plan, at one hundred US dollars.
The short version is a summary for convenience. The sections below are the agreement.
Who this agreement is between
These terms are between Ylveno (“Ylveno”, “we”, “us”), operated from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the business that opens a Ylveno account (“you”, the “retailer”). By opening an account, or by using the platform on behalf of a business, you accept them for that business and confirm you are entitled to do so. Ylveno is a service for businesses; if you are a consumer, these terms are not for you, and the sections below marked for shoppers say what applies instead.
The Privacy Policy and the plan you choose on the pricing page are part of this agreement. A written contract signed by both of us (an Enterprise agreement, for instance) takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
What Ylveno is
Ylveno is visual commerce infrastructure. You upload 3D models of the products you sell — or ask us to make them — and Ylveno stores, optimises and serves them: as a 3D viewer and an augmented-reality view on your own website, and as a room planner your shoppers can arrange your products in. A dashboard configures it; an API and an embeddable widget serve it; a WordPress plugin connects a WooCommerce store to it. Ylveno is not a marketplace: no shopper browses across shops, and no shop sees another’s catalogue.
Accounts and your team
- You must be at least 18 and give us a working email address. You are responsible for everything done through your account and by the people you add to it, so keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think it has been used by someone else.
- You can invite team members to your shop. Each acts for the shop with the access you give them; removing them removes that access at once.
- Ylveno’s own staff may work in your shop when you ask us to — a manager assigned to you, a designer making a model you requested. They act only to do that work, and a record of what they did stays with your shop.
- One account is one shop. A business with several brands or storefronts opens one account per catalogue, or asks us about an Enterprise arrangement.
Plans, limits and billing
Plans
Every shop is on a plan. The plans, their prices and their limits are those on the pricing page on the day you choose or change one. A limit is a count — models, storage, websites — and the API enforces the ones it can count. When you reach a limit, new uploads are refused with a message that says which limit and why; nothing already on your site changes. You can free space by deleting, or move up.
The Free plan
The Free plan has no term, no card and no expiry. Its viewer carries a small “Powered by Ylveno” mark. We may close a Free account that has not been signed into for twelve months, and we will email you thirty days before doing so.
Paid plans
- Term. A paid plan runs month to month or year to year, from the day it starts, and renews for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Price. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to add. A yearly plan is billed once for the year at the yearly price. If we raise the price of your plan, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will email you at least thirty days before that.
- Payment. Ylveno does not yet take card payments inside the platform. We invoice by email and accept bank transfer and the local methods we list on the invoice; an invoice is due within fourteen days. When card payment arrives, plans will renew automatically on the card you give us, and this section will say so.
- Late payment. If an invoice is thirty days overdue we may downgrade the shop to the Free plan’s limits until it is paid. Your content is not deleted for late payment, and whatever is already published keeps working.
- Moving up takes effect at once; we charge the difference for the rest of the current period. Moving down takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Models over the new plan’s limit stay; you just cannot add more until you are under it.
- Refunds. A yearly plan cancelled within fourteen days of its first payment is refunded in full. After that, and for monthly plans, payments are not refunded, and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. If we withdraw a plan or materially reduce what it includes during a period you have paid for, we refund the unused part.
Enterprise
An Enterprise plan is priced and governed by a separate written agreement. Until that is signed, these terms apply.
Your content
“Your content” is everything you put on Ylveno: 3D model files, photographs, product names, SKUs, prices, dimensions, images, the looks and rooms you compose, and the settings you choose. It stays yours. So that Ylveno can do what you are asking it to, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, convert (every format is converted to GLB), optimise, generate previews of, and display your content through the viewer, the AR view, the planner and the API — on your websites, and on Ylveno-hosted pages that your site links to, such as the AR page a QR code opens and a room a shopper shares. The licence exists only for that purpose and ends for any item when you delete it, except for copies in backups, which roll over within thirty days.
You promise that, for everything you upload:
- you own it or have permission from whoever does, including the right to let us do the things above;
- it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trade mark, design right or privacy;
- it does not contain malware and is not designed to attack Ylveno, your shoppers or anyone else;
- product photographs you send us do not show people, unless you have their consent.
We do not use your content to train machine-learning models, and we do not show it to other retailers. If someone tells us that your content infringes their rights, we will pass the notice to you and may take the item down while you and they sort it out.
You can have your content exported at any time by asking us; models come back as the GLB files we serve, and as your originals where we still hold them. We answer an export request within fourteen days.
Models we make for you
You can ask Ylveno to make a model: from photographs by our AI photo-to-3D, or by one of our designers. In either case the finished model is your content under the section above — you own it the moment we deliver it, and the same licence to us applies. Fees for designer work are quoted before we start. The AI counts against your plan’s monthly allowance.
A generated model is an approximation of the photographs it was made from. You review it before publishing, and you are responsible for what you publish: if a generated sofa is a little wider than the real one, the person to fix that is you, in the dashboard, before a shopper measures a wall by it.
Your website, your shoppers
The viewer, the AR view and the planner appear on your website, to your shoppers, under your name. That means:
- Your site’s rules apply. You are responsible for your site’s privacy notice, cookie consent and consumer law, and for telling shoppers, if your law requires it, that a third party serves the 3D view. Our Privacy Policy describes what the viewer does and does not collect, so you can.
- What a shopper sees is your claim. A 3D model shows a product’s shape and finish as the model was made; it is not a measurement instrument or a colour proof. The dimensions the viewer shows come from the file and the scale you set. Keep them true, and say on your site that colours and sizes are indicative.
- AR is used in the real world. A shopper placing a wardrobe in their room is walking around with a phone. The AR view uses the phone’s own AR software and shows its own safety prompts; neither you nor we control where a shopper walks.
- Websites are counted. Your plan allows a number of websites: domains that load the viewer with your shop’s identifier. A staging or development site does not count.
If you are a shopper
You do not need an account and you are not a party to these terms. The retailer whose site you are on is responsible for the products and prices you see. Ylveno serves the 3D view, collects almost nothing about you (see our Privacy Policy), and asks only that you use the viewer, AR and planner for choosing furniture and not for anything that would harm the retailer, Ylveno or another person. A room you share by link is visible to anyone with the link for ninety days.
The WordPress plugin
“YLVENO for WooCommerce” is free software under the GNU General Public License v2 or later, which governs the plugin code itself. Using the plugin to connect a store to Ylveno is use of the platform under these terms. Install it only on stores you own or are authorised to manage. The plugin sends your shop identifier and product SKUs to Ylveno to find which products have a model, and nothing about your customers.
Acceptable use
You will not, and will not let anyone using your account:
- use Ylveno for anything unlawful, or to show products it is unlawful to sell where they are shown;
- upload content that is defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone’s rights;
- probe, scan or attack the platform, bypass a rate limit or a plan limit, or access another shop’s data;
- scrape, copy or resell the platform, the widget, or models that are not yours;
- reverse-engineer the platform except where the law lets you regardless of this term;
- use the platform to build a competing service, or benchmark it for publication without asking us;
- run the viewer on a site that misleads shoppers about who they are buying from.
Security researchers acting in good faith are welcome: write to us first, keep it to your own shop’s data, and we will not treat the research as a breach of this section.
What is ours
The platform — the software, the API, the widget, the dashboard, the planner, the optimisation pipeline, the designs, the documentation and the Ylveno name and mark — is ours, and stays ours. These terms give you the right to use it while you have an account and nothing more. If you send us a suggestion, we can use it without owing you anything; we will not claim you cannot use your own idea.
Availability and support
We run Ylveno to be available all the time. We do not promise a specific uptime unless your plan includes an SLA, in which case the SLA’s terms are those in your plan or agreement. We will announce planned maintenance at least 24 hours ahead where we can, and do it when it will bother the fewest shoppers. An immutable asset URL never changes content, so a model your site already loads keeps loading even while we deploy.
Support is by email. We answer every plan; plans with priority support are answered first, and Business and Enterprise plans have someone to call. We may change or retire a feature; if we retire one your plan depends on, we will tell you at least thirty days ahead and, where it materially reduces the plan, refund as described above.
Data processing
Where your content includes personal data about other people — it seldom does, but a product photograph might — you are the controller and Ylveno is your processor. For that processing, Ylveno will:
- process it only to provide the platform to you and on your documented instructions, which these terms and your use of the dashboard are;
- keep it confidential and allow access only to people bound by confidentiality who need it to do their work;
- protect it with the measures described in the Privacy Policy, and tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours of becoming aware, of a breach affecting it;
- use only the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy, tell you before adding one, and let you object;
- help you answer a request from a person exercising their rights, and with any assessment or audit your law requires, at cost if the work is substantial;
- delete or return it when the agreement ends, as described in the next section;
- sign the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or a fuller data processing agreement if you need one — ask.
Ending the agreement
By you
Close your account by emailing us from the address on the account, at any time. A paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed.
By us
We can suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms, if your use puts the platform or other shops at risk, if an invoice is sixty days overdue, or if the law requires it. Where the breach can be put right, we will tell you what is wrong and give you fourteen days to fix it before closing the account; where it cannot — an attack on the platform, illegal content — we may act at once and tell you afterwards.
What happens to your content
| What we do | |
|---|---|
| For 30 days after closure | Your content is kept, your viewer keeps serving it if you are still paying for the period, and you can export everything. |
| After 30 days | We delete your content and account data. Backups roll over within a further 30 days. |
| Shared room links | Expire on their own 90-day schedule, unaffected. |
| Invoices and records | Kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. |
The sections on your content’s ownership, what is ours, liability, indemnities and governing law survive the end of the agreement.
What we do and do not promise
We promise that Ylveno will do materially what this page and the pricing page say it does, that we have the right to offer it, and that we will not knowingly send you malware. If it does not do what we say, tell us; we will fix it, and if we cannot, you can leave and we will refund the unused part of what you paid.
Beyond that, the platform is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, that a 3D model or an AI-generated model will match a physical product exactly, or that using the viewer will increase your sales. To the extent the law allows, we exclude every warranty this page does not give, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
Some liability cannot be limited by law — for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and whatever else your law does not allow to be limited — and nothing here limits it. For everything else:
- Our total liability to you, for all claims together, is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose — or, if you are on the Free plan, at one hundred US dollars.
- Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits or revenue, lost sales, loss of goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
- The caps do not apply to your payment obligations, to either party’s indemnities below, or to a breach of the acceptable-use section.
We think these are fair for a platform priced as this one is: the cap is the price, and the exclusions are the losses neither of us can foresee for the other.
Indemnities
You will defend and compensate Ylveno against third-party claims that your content, or your use of the platform in breach of these terms, infringes someone’s rights or breaks the law.
We will defend and compensate you against third-party claims that the platform itself — not your content, and not a model we made from your photographs — infringes a copyright or trade mark. If such a claim comes, we may fix or replace the infringing part, or, if we cannot, end your plan and refund the unused part.
Whoever is indemnified tells the other promptly, lets them run the defence, and helps reasonably. Neither settles a claim in a way that admits fault on the other’s behalf without their agreement.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If we have a dispute, we each agree to try to resolve it by talking first: write to us, we will reply within fourteen days, and the two of us will meet, in person or by call, within thirty days of that. If that does not settle it, the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction — except that either of us may seek an injunction in any court to protect intellectual property or confidential information, and a consumer’s right to sue in their own country, where the law gives one, is unaffected.
General
- Whole agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy and your plan are the whole agreement between us, and replace anything said before.
- Assignment. You may not transfer the agreement without our consent, which we will not withhold unreasonably. We may transfer it to a successor to the business, and will tell you if we do.
- Severability. If a court finds a term unenforceable, the rest stand, and the term is read as narrowly as needed to be enforceable.
- Waiver. Not enforcing a term once does not mean giving it up.
- Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for failing to perform because of something outside our reasonable control — but nothing here excuses paying an invoice.
- Notices to you go to the email on your account; notices to us go to hello@ylveno.com.
- Language. These terms are written in English. A translation is for convenience; the English text governs.
Changes to these terms
We will change these terms when the product changes — when card payments arrive, when we add a feature that needs a rule. For a change that reduces your rights or increases your obligations, we will email every account at least fourteen days before it takes effect, and you can close your account before then with a refund of the unused part of any yearly plan. Other changes take effect when posted. The effective date at the top says which version you are reading.
